Hey, Thank you for visiting our site and enjoying our content. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to get in...
Welcome!
We’re so glad you found us.
I’m Sam – The British Boxer Mum!
I earned that designation almost 13 years ago when I brought home my very first puppy on Dec. 23, 2006, Loki is my first true love, my soul dog! Kato followed 18 months later in June 2008, my heart dog! They say dogs steal your heart without trying, well they stole mine and turned my life upside down in the process – in the best way possible. It hasn’t all been sunshine and roses, we’ve been through countless surgeries, multiple cancer diagnoses and we’re currently battling an incurable degenerative disorder, but none of us are giving up without a fight! We started this blog to share our journey, experience, and information for pets and their people, to help them be informed and live long, healthy, happy lives!
I’m a member of a veterinary health care team working in a small animal clinic, and I’m a student! How I have time to eat and sleep on top of blogging I’ll never know – but here we go!
I like to travel, mostly to visit my home country of England, spend time with my family and binge watch Netflix shows! We’re currently watching Manifest, New Amsterdam, and I’m a Friends addict! I’m also a wife too!
I currently live near Austin, Texas and we’ve been Texans for a little over 5 years. My family all live in England and while I don’t have any skin kids of my own, I do have a pretty awesome niece who loves animals just like her favourite Aunty!

Great site, Sam! Thanks for being in my class over at AMU/APUS. My wife and I love dogs. We have a Golden Retriever and an Old English Sheepdog, both fantastic companions. Take care!
